Community volunteer

Busy working mom, Councilmember, and volunteer with two decade of community service

"Naturally, once my daughter and son were born, my volunteerism became more focused on the organizations they were involved in. But I never wavered in my commitment to lend a hand wherever I was needed. Now that they are older, I still maintain my involvement with their organizations, but I can also bring them with me to other events, hand them a shovel or garbage bag and expect them to join in."
